The iPad in Practice: Designing Flows and Ladders for the Classroom

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

Searching through the app store can be an exhilarating, yet exhausting experience. All those bright, shiny apps - but which ones should we choose? How many? How should we bring them together? In this session, we will examine these questions through the dual lens of the SAMR model and the EdTech Quintet, seeing how a few well-chosen apps can support a broad range of learning projects. We will see how to integrate these apps into flows, and how to design "SAMR ladders" that leverage these flows to transform classroom outcomes. Everyone is encouraged to bring questions about their own teaching scenarios, so that the knowledge gained can be put to good use right away.
