"Are you asking yourself these questions-- How do I figure out a sound way to pick iPad apps to use for support of teaching and learning? How do I assess student work via the iPad? What are the choices for collaboration among students using the devices? What does the workflow in the iPad classroom look like?

If so, this presentation will provide you, no matter what level you teach, with tips, ideas, and pedagogical strategies for both teaching and learning with the iPad. Successful practices for teaching with the iPad will be highlighted. iPad apps for use by students will be presented that target the cognitive levels of Bloom's Revised Taxonomy (2000). Both formative and summative assessment utilizing the iPad and synchronous and asynchronous collaboration between teacher and student and student to student, will also be addressed. In addition, some strategies for effective workflow in the iPad classroom will be included. Participants will have the opportunity to share and ask questions via a backchannel site during the presentation. Time will be left for other questions you might have too!
