FluidMath Makes the iPad a Dynamic Math Learning Tool

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

It is now possible for your iPad to be a dynamic math writing surface that, based on your own handwriting, will create graphs and tables, simplify expressions, and solve equations. The session will introduce FluidMath.net, an easy-to-use web application that interprets your math notation handwritten on an iPad with your finger or a stylus. The session is ideal for teachers of Algebra I, Algebra II, and Precalculus. Topics will involve both student discovery activities & teacher demonstrations. The session will include activities that take advantage of Fluidmath's robust computer algebra system. If you have been frustrated by the lack of iPad apps for High School mathematics, this session is for you!
