Electronic Portfolios and Making Thinking Visible

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

This session is for teachers who are looking for ways to level up assessment practices to match the rich learning that is taking place in our classrooms. As we focus on process, creativity, communication, collaboration, problem solving, and inquiry we begin to have more opportunities for capturing thinking and artifacts efficiently and easily along the way. When we change the way we teach, it is also time to change how to measure student success. This session is about the tools, workflow, and thinking habits that make thinking visible through electronic portfolios.

Educators participating in this session will see examples of ePortfolios from students in grades 3, 4 and 7. Come and explore how students gather, showcase, and reflect on learning with iPad. See how the classroom teacher can use ePortfolios to provide feedback and encourage self-evaluation and peer evaluation.
